I have to say: Berlin does Starbucks really well.

The only exception: There's no half-and-half milk. Not here. Not anywhere. In Europe.

Aside from that, this store is great. Spacious, lots of super comfortable, cushion seating. A downstairs area for the toilets. And a feel of an actual coffee house.

I like the service here, everyone speaks English, and is super friendly. 4 stars for this Starbucks, you won't be disappointed.

This branch of Starbucks is the closest branch to the Hilton in Berlin, which was where I stayed for my week in the German capital. It is a fairly large branch and probably one of the larger stores I've seen so far in Berlin, it is accessed through a large step from the ordering station to the seats which can be a little frustrating if you are attending in a wheelchair, there is a satisfactory amount of seating including downstairs seating too.

The staff here seemed friendly enough, the woman who spoke to me spoke little English but still tried to talk to me and get my order right, despite a little confusion at first. I ordered a Hazelnut Praline Frappucino as it isn't available in the UK, my home country.

Like Most Starbucks in Germany, this place has free wi-fi and is a tad more expensive than other branches of Starbucks such as in the UK and US, and only accepts Starbucks cards from Germany, nowhere else, this tends to be the case for most of Europe where the country's Starbucks cards are only valid here and it tends to be more expensive due to the licensing, meanwhile in the UK and US cardholders can use the cards between those two countries and others including Ireland and Canada.

My drink quality was okay, it was a tad thick but it was actually a nice drink, combining the coffee and hazelnut flavour and some form of mocha/chocolate.

Overall, this is a nice branch, albeit there are some slight issues such as the issues which affect Starbucks stores across Germany, not just this one as well as the slight inaccessibility through the step, the location is a little hidden and can be hard to find, being close to Stadtmitte Station, overall the location is okay but not fantastic. Due to the points discussed I feel this branch of Starbucks, deserves three stars.

I hate the fact that my morning commute has a Starbucks along the way, whether I take the bus (and get off at Checkpoint Charlie) or I take U2 (and get off at Stadtmitte, where this is just a stone's throw away). The thing is, I am trying to break a coffee habit and Starbucks isn't helping.

I should say they make good drinks. But expensive too. I typically get a caramel hot chocolate, and that is 4,95 EUR per a Venti cup. I limit myself to getting that once a week only, otherwise, I'd probably be using my whole savings.

They have free wifi in the store. There are plenty of comfortable cushioned chairs. There is a swanky restroom downstairs. And the staff speaks good English, for the tourists who don't have the willpower to explore the amazing third-wave coffee scene here in Berlin and would rather stick to known brands they are familiar with from home.

How should I say this? I like it, but only because a good local coffee shop is nowhere near my office.

Wow, my preceding reviewers MUST have really high expectations to give this Starbucks a low review. It is definitely less crowded than the one near the Friedrichstraße Bahnhof, and the servers are really friendly and fast with service.

I like European Starbucks locations a little more than the average American Starbucks shop because it is a real coffee shop setting, not just coffee in a to-go cup, and there are lots of seats (sometimes another floor) for people to hang around to chat or even be online. Oh, and this place has free wi-fi, even if it is not mentioned on the official Starbucks website (I checked). However, there are very few outlets, mainly the one by the doors. ):

Also, I give credit to the barista who made my Java Chip Frappuccino -- it was much better than any barista could make at the Starbucks on University Ave. back in Palo Alto.

Had a great stay here. Enough seats for all of us(4 people) and the coffee was made fairly quickly. The prices are normal and fine and the quality of the coffee is great. The atmosphere is very pleasant and thankfully it's not so dirty here :D Also they have a two hour free wifi session for the customers, which works super great-you don't even need a password. Anyone loves coffee and a quick snack- come here, it's wonderful.
